Thanks to your fantastic generosity, the buttercup Ball 2005 raised an outstanding £153,000 for Yorkhill Muscle fund
From that we have helped over 50 children and their families. We have funded:-
- 32 tilt and space wheelchairs and risers
- 6 permobile advanced powered wheelchairs and take children from a sit to stand position (15k each)
- 4 sleep systems
- 1 manual wheelchair and seating system
- 1 bed
- 4 seating systems
- Repair and maintenance for all equipment
Outstanding!!
The Buttercup Ball Committee are never ones to stand still, and now that all the money previously raised has been so beneficially spent, we are delighted to raise funds once again for such a worthy cause.
The committee
The committee for 2009 is made up of stalwarts Rosie Brawley, Yvonne Craig and Janice McCaffer as well as newcomers Louise Fraser and Elaine Cameron.
